Can I bring a friend or support person to my counselling session?

If you have a carer or would prefer someone to accompany you to your counselling session, we're here to work with you to find the best arrangement. To protect the confidential space which makes counselling most effective, we typically invite companions to come back when the session has ended or to wait in our reception area. However, your needs matter most. If you would like to explore what works best for your situation, the Centre for Wellbeing team is ready to create a solution together. If you have a registered emotional support animal, please speak to the Centre for Wellbeing team.
