How can I check my engagement score?
You can view your engagement score on the MySurrey Engagement (MSE) platform.
If you are already logged into your University Microsoft account, clicking on MySurrey Engagement will take you straight into your engagement dashboard on MSE.
If you are not logged in, you will first be prompted to sign in with your University email address (e.g. ab0012@surrey.ac.uk) and password, then click “Sign in” to access the system. You may be asked to verify your identity using Microsoft Authenticator.
Your student profile includes a header, which includes information, such your name, University ID (URN) photo, course, and course year. There are also several indicators, allowing you to see key information at a glance. The categories are High (H), Good (G), Partial (P), Low (L), Very Low (VL), None (N).
At the top of the page there is a header that allows you to see key information (including your engagement rating) at a glance.
Your “current engagement” is your level of engagement with digital resources over the last 24 hours.
Your “average engagement” is your average "mean" level of engagement with digital resources over the last 28 days.
It is possible to change the date range so you can view your engagement rating over a longer period.
If you have just started at Surrey, then you must have completed student registration before you can access MSE.
