How can I connect more with my faith?
At Surrey, we have lots of opportunities for you to connect more closely to your faith.
There are a huge range of societies on offer at the University, which are a great way to connect with like-minded people. You can view all our societies on offer on the Students' Union website.
We offer various locations for pray, devotions, meditation and anything else on campus as part of your faith and beliefs:
The Roundhouse provides space for individuals and groups, primarily for prayer, worship, meditation and contemplation. It provides a multi-faith lounge area, a Christian oratory (prayer room) and Jewish common room for personal prayer and devotions.
Islamic Prayer Room for Muslim daily prayers, it has Wudu facilities and separate entrances are available.
Pastoral Care Centre (Wey Flat) offers an opportunity for small groups to meet as well as daily drop ins with the chaplains
Manor Park also has a shared space available for prayers, meditation and devotions. Students on the Manor Park campus can visit the Manor Park Hive reception and staff can provide access to a prayer room located in one of the residential blocks on Manor Park.
