How do I access support or book an appointment with the Maths and Statistics Advice team?

In the Library, our Maths and Statistics Advice team is a free service for all students across all disciplines. We offer non-judgmental, impartial advice on all aspects of mathematics and statistics.

You can find information on the online resources available, how to book an appointment or attend a drop-in session on MyLearning Development at Surrey. 

The team can help with:- 

• Statistical testing
• Statistical software (SPSS, RStudio, Jamovi)
• Study design
• Data collection
• Pure mathematical topics (algebra, calculus etc.)
• Applied mathematics
• Numeracy
• Numerical reasoning
