How do I collect my campus card when I arrive at University?

When you arrive on campus, you will need to collect your campus card. Your campus card is your personalised ID to prove that you are a Surrey student, but it also gets you access to the Library and other campus spaces, plus unlocks discounts in a range of stores and retailers. Therefore, we recommend you collect your campus card as soon as possible.

Collecting your card is a quick, simple process. When you can collect your campus card will depend on when you completed online registration AND the photo for your campus card is approved.

You will know when your campus card photo has been approved as you will receive an email confirmation. It can be collected from University Hall on the Stag Hill campus. You do not need to book a slot to collect your campus card – just drop by during opening hours 9.30am-5pm during Welcome Week.

If you have missed the deadline to upload your photo, were not asked to provide a photo, there was an issue uploading your photo, or you're joining mid-way through the academic year, you must complete the campus card request form. You will then be emailed with details of when and where to collect your campus card after it has been printed.
