How do I read University room numbers?
The room number will come first, then the building's initials, followed by the floor number. For example: 01 DK 02 is room one, Duke of Kent building, floor two.
Rooms labelled LT are in the Lecture Theatre Block – LTG would therefore be Lecture Theatre G.
Rooms labelled TB are in the Teaching Block – TB02 would therefore be in Teaching Block Room 2.
The building's initials can be found on the campus map (PDF). You can find more details on the precise location of our main teaching blocks and facilities on campus by using our Getting around campus page.
You can also view access and location guides and to each of the buildings on our campus on AccessAble. This lists their full names as well as their abbreviated letter codes (AA, BA etc). You can also view campus walking routes from these pages too.
