I am about to leave halls

You are required to vacate your accommodation and return keys by midday on the end date stated in your acceptance email or accommodation agreement. You must remove any belongings from your room and kitchen, and leave the room in a clean, reasonable condition, as you found it, or you may be charged for damage or cleaning.

There will be a pre-departure and post-departure inspection to check the room is in an acceptable condition.
