I am currently on a study or work programme abroad and I want to withdraw from it, what should I do?
If you are participating in a study or work programme abroad and you want to withdraw from this, you must ensure that you let us know by contacting the International Engagement Office or you can book an appointment to speak to us. If you have received a grant or bursary for the study or work abroad programme, you may be required to return some or all of the funding received. This will be reviewed on a case by case basis depending on the individual circumstances, time of withdrawal and time spent abroad.
If you are on a study exchange and withdraw from the partner institution after starting your exchange programme at the partner, tuition fees will be due to Surrey (see Student Fee and Debt Management Policy and the Code of Practice for Temporary or Permanent Withdrawal of Studies).
