I am a postgraduate research (PGR) student. When will I receive my stipend funding?

If you are a postgraduate research (PGR) student receiving a stipend, this is typically paid by the PGR Studentship (Finance) team on the last Friday of the preceding month or on the 1st of the month if that falls on a Friday. Please note that there are exceptions depending on your enrolment status, the time of the year and your month of enrolment (entry point) at the university.

Funding Stipend will then continue until whichever of the following applies first:

•    The end of the quarter during which you submit your thesis (i.e. March, June, September, or December)

•    The end of your funded period

•    The start date of full-time employment, if this is prior to your funding end date.
