I have seen in the media that there will be a new international student levy. I am an international student, what does this mean for me?

The UK government has announced that the international student levy will take effect from the 1st August 2028. Given the extended timescale to implementation, the University will not be making any changes to international tuition fee levels as a result of the levy in the short term. As the implementation date approaches, any new information will be communicated to students in advance.
