I have submitted my thesis – do I still need to re-register? (Postgraduate research)

You do still need to re-register if you are submitting your thesis as you are required to re-register up until the point of your award, as you do remain enrolled until that time. 

Postgraduate Researchers (PGRs) are charged fees up until the point that their thesis is submitted for examination.
