I want to request to permanently withdraw from my course
We are sorry to hear that you are thinking of permanently withdrawing. We would strongly advise you to first discuss permanently withdrawing from your studies with your personal tutor and the MySurrey Hive team. You can contact the MySurrey Hive team via Surrey Support. Please select 'My course' as your enquiry topic. Information on permanently withdrawing is also included in the Code of Practice for temporary or permanent withdrawal of studies (PDF).
If you are sure you must submit your request via the extenuating circumstances (EC) form on Surrey Self-Service.
An outcome email will be sent to you by us, and provided that the application is approved, your student record will be updated. You will be contacted if you are eligible for an exit award.
Where applicable we will notify Student Finance and the Home Office (for students on a visa) of the withdrawal from your studies.
