If I am on a temporary withdrawal, will I need to re-register before I return to my studies?
If you are on a temporary withdrawal you will still need to re-register during the normal registration period which runs from early August to the second week of teaching in Semester 1 every year. You will receive the usual reminders to re-register during this period and be invited by email to re-register which you can do via Surrey Self-Service. If you are experiencing any issues please contact the MySurrey Hive team via Surrey Support.
Re-registration is not confirmation of your return to teaching. You should still contact the MySurrey Hive team via Surrey Support, and select 'My Course' as your enquiry topic, to confirm your return to your course and the modules that you will be taking.
If you fail to re-register or enage with the university following a period of temporary withdrawal, this can result in termination.
