What is academic integrity?

Academic integrity is fundamental to every aspect of learning and teaching at the University and concerns all academic staff and students. This concept is based on honesty, trust, fairness, respect, responsibility and courage as detailed within The Fundamental Values of Academic Integrity (PDF) developed by the International Center for Academic Integrity.

It is unacceptable to the University that any student should engage in practices and actions that undermine academic integrity and thus cheat in order to gain an unfair advantage. This constitutes academic misconduct.
