What happens in my appointment with a Mental Health Practitioner?
Your first appointment with a Mental Health Practitioner will be a time for you to discuss and explore what difficulties you are having and what support the team can offer. This is a student-led process. The aim will be to support you in improved mental and physical health so you are able to achieve throughout your time at University. The Mental Health Practitioner may share some resources with you or signpost you to online materials and alternative materials. The appointments usually last about 50 minutes.
