What if I need to speak to a counsellor outside the Centre for Wellbeing's opening hours?
Our new service Thrivewell are a mental health and emotional wellbeing service which can help with a range of low level issues including anxiety, low mood and exam stress. You can contact Thrivewell via our email; thrivewell@surrey.ac.uk.
You can also use our Nightline service which is a listening service for students, run by trained student volunteers. You can call them to talk confidentially about any problem, ask a few questions, or get something off your chest. They are available from 7pm to 7am, Monday to Friday.
If you feel you require a higher level of support for your mental health, The Centre for Wellbeing can support you with a range of issues through counselling or support from a Mental Health Practitioner. You can contact us today via email.
You can speak with a counsellor/adviser 24/7 through the University's Student Assistance Programme, Health Assured.
