What learning adjustments are available and how do I apply for them?

The Disability and Neuroinclusion team can support in arranging reasonable adjustments for all aspects of your time at the University.

Examples of learning adjustments include: 

• power point slides, handouts, and other resources provided in advance of classes 

• provision of learning materials in accessible formats (e.g. large print, coloured paper) 

• use of a computer or assistive software

• access to lecture recordings and/or note-taking support

• access to breaks

• access to additional support from teaching staff with understanding instructions and complex language 

You can request adjustments from Disability & Neuroinclusion by completing the appropriate form below: 

• If you do not already have adjustments in place, you will need to complete our Register and Request Support form. This allows you to register with Disability & Neuroinclusion and request academic adjustments as part of the same form. • If you already have any kind of adjustments in place and would like to request additional academic adjustments, please submit an Additional Request and select Academic as the adjustment type. You can submit an Additional Adjustments Request.
