What social support is there for students who are disabled or neurodivergent?
There are a range of social opportunities and peer-support activities available to disabled and neurodivergent students at the University of Surrey.
You may wish to explore the following:
Student societies: You can connect with other students through relevant societies, including Autisoc.
Thrivewell workshops: These include wellbeing and peer-support activities, such as the ADHD Peer Support Group.
Wednesday Workshop: A regular opportunity to meet other students, take part in activities and access peer support.
The Surrey Equality Network: A network where students can connect with others, share experiences and get involved in equality, diversity and inclusion activities.
These activities may change throughout the year. Check the relevant webpages, event listings or Students’ Union information for current dates and details.
