What storage space do I have in my communal kitchen for keeping my food and utensils?

If you are living in university campus accommodation and share a communal kitchen, you will be allocated cupboard space. There will be two cupboards (top and bottom) allocated to each person in the kitchen. In most kitchens, each of the cupboards are numbered to reflect the individual room numbers. So, look out for the cupboards that have the same number as your room - these are the cupboards that have been allocated to you.

Please refrain from using cupboards not marked with your room number - our housekeeping team will dispose of items left in cupboards belonging to vacant rooms.

In the fridges, there is no reserved space, but there are usually one or more shelves for each of the people living in the flat.
