What support is available to me if returned to my University halls after being in hospital?
If you have recently returned to your room after a hospital stay, we understand this can be a challenging time. We want to ensure that you have the support you need during your recovery. Please find information below on the assistance available to you:
- Wellbeing checks: our team can conduct wellbeing checks to see how you are. We can provide helpful information on resources available to you.
- Room adaptations: if your room on campus is no longer suitable for your needs as a result of your hospital stay, please let the MySurrey team via Surrey Support by selecting "Disability and Neuroinclusion" as your enquiry topic.
- Community assistance: we encourage you to reach out to friends, flatmates, or the wider university community. Sometimes, a helping hand from those around you can make a significant difference.
