Where can I find support with writing or study skills?

The Library’s Learning Development teams (Academic Skills and Development (AS&D) and Maths and Statistic Advice (MASA)) can support you with your studies at whatever level or stage of your studies you are at. This is a free service for all taught students across all disciplines. Asking for help from the teams is confidential and we offer non-judgmental, impartial advice on all aspects of study.

You can access study guides and tutorials 24/7 to help you develop your study skills and strategies on the my Learning Development at Surrey module on SurreyLearn where you will also find ways to meet with AS&D and MASA by booking an appointment, coming to a drop-in or attending a workshop or event.

The Researcher Development team in the Doctoral College support PhD research students with their writing and skills development relevant to expectations of PhD level study.
