Why did you charge me for losing a book?
If a book has been lost it needs to be replaced. You are responsible for any books borrowed on your library account, so you are liable to pay the £70 replacement fee. If you want to speak to the Library team about a lost library item please raise an enquiry with the Library team via Surrey Support, selecting 'Library Resources' as your enquiry topic and we will investigate for you.
