Am I eligible for a bursary?

All students that meet the criteria for a bursary will be picked up automatically by our system, so if you are eligible we will contact you to let you know that you qualify.

You do not need to make an application to the University to be considered for a bursary. However, we do need to be able to check that your household income meets the criteria, so we need to be able to access information about your household income that has been verified by Student Finance.

If you would like to be considered for a bursary please make sure that you have submitted your application to Student Finance, that you have chosen to be means-tested and that you (and any parents/guardians) have given consent to share that information with the University.

If we receive the information relating to your Student Finance records and, if you meet all the criteria, you will be contacted at the beginning of the academic year with confirmation of your bursary and information about payment.
