Can I use artificial intelligence in my assignments?

You will be encouraged to use generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) where it supports learning and your course allows it. You will be taught how to use GenAI properly, ethically and critically — not as a shortcut, but as a tool you can explain and evaluate. The academic course that you are studying will have different standards around how you are taught and encouraged to use GenAI. Business students, engineers, nurses, lawyers and creative students will be expected to use GenAI differently.
