Do I need to pass all assignments on the module to pass the module overall?

In most cases you are able to pass a module overall if you have achieved the overall pass mark, whilst having also failed one or more of the assignments.

If you have failed assignments on your module but passed others, and the result is that the module has been failed overall,  you will only resit the failed assignments (and not the assignment/s that you have already passed as part of that module).

If you failed one or more assignments on your module but have passed the module overall, you will not be permitted to resit the failed assignments.

If you have extenuating circumstances for one or more of your assignments but have managed to pass the module overall despite these assignments  still being outstanding, you can still take these (or you can choose not to).

We would always recommend retaking any assessments that you are eligible to take in order to achieve a higher overall module mark.
