Does the university need to see a Gender Recognition Certificate if I have changed my gender?
You do not need, and will not be asked to produce, a Gender Recognition Certificate (GRC) at any point. The University will extend to all transgender students the same support, guidance and sensitivity whether or not you possess a GRC.
If you possess a GRC, you will be legally recognised as your affirmed gender, including in many instances where a Genuine Occupational Qualification applies.
