How can I find out if there is room for me on a module?

If you are choosing your optional modules during the online module selection period, the moment you confirm your choice of modules, you will have an allocated place. You will then be able to view your confirmed optional modules on Surrey Self-Service.

If you want to change the optional modules that you have previously selected (or you missed the module selection deadline) you must do this within the first two weeks of the semester. Your request will be reviewed and will only be authorised if there is capacity on the module you want to move to. In these circumstances, if you want find out if there is still room available on a specific module, please contact the MySurrey Hive team via Surrey Support and select "My Course" as your enquiry topic.

You will be contacted by week three of teaching to confirm whether your module change has been approved or denied. There may be a further delay to the changes being updated on SurreyLearn and your online timetable but these are usually updated within three working days.
