How can I help my flatmate who wont come out of their room?

If you have not seen your flat/housemate leave their room and are concerned about their wellbeing or welfare, you can raise a case with a member of the Campus Safety team via Surrey Support.  Please select “Welfare concern” as your enquiry topic. 

Our Campus Safety team are also on hand to manage any incidents on our campuses and act as a key liaison between emergency services and any students at risk. Our dedicated residence security team can also help provide on-call professional qualified mental health support late at night and in the early hours.
