How can I obtain funding for my clinical placement? Is there any additional funding available to me while I am on placement?

You may be able to claim some additional support whilst undertaking your placement.

Health sciences

If you are not in receipt of an NHS bursary, you may be eligible for Learning Support Fund assistance for placement travel expenses, child/dependent care, and exceptional support needs. You may also be eligible to apply for our hardship fund if you are experiencing financial difficulties.

Veterinary medicine

Available scholarships and bursaries are advertised via the SurreyLearn programme and placement pages. You may also be eligible to apply for our hardship fund if you are experiencing financial difficulties.
