How do I know whether the session listed on my timetable will be delivered as a lecture, tutorial or other form of teaching?
You can find out how your timetabled session will be delivered by first of all logging onto your online timetable and clicking on one of your scheduled timetabled events.
Once you click into one of these sessions you will see at the bottom, a code which will confirms the type of teaching session. The session will display one of the following categories:-
| LECT | Lecture |
| TUT | Tutorial |
| SEM | Seminar |
| Ptut | Personal tutorial (with Personal Tutor) |
| LAB | Laboratory session |
| Wshp | Workshop |
| OFFSITE | Off campus visit |
| PRAC | Practical session |
| QA | Questions and Answers |
| TEST | Test |
| EXAM | Exam |
You will also be able to view the location of the session within the event details. If the event is ‘online’, this will be specified, along with the type of online session.
