How early should I book my extramural studies (EMS) placements?
If you are a veterinary medicine student you should begin looking for extramural studies (EMS) placements as soon as you can. As placement providers tend to have long waiting lists, we suggest starting the extramural studies (EMS) process from the start of your course and no later than 4 weeks before you plan to start your placement.
