How many modules or assessments can I include within an application for extenuating circumstances (EC)?

There is no limit on the number of assessments/modules for which you can include within a single application for extenuating circumstances (ECs). However you should bear in mind that there are restrictions as to the timeframe of the assessments that you include in EC applications, depending on when you submit the request.

Self-certified applications can be applied for up to 10 working days (2 calendar weeks) before the assessment deadline. If there are multiple assessments in your application, you would need to make sure all of these assessments are within 5 working days of each other. All assessments included as part of a self-certified application need to be within 5 working days (one calendar week) of the first assessment deadline you include.

Evidence based EC applications can be applied for up to 15 working days (3 calendar weeks) before the assessment start date/deadline and also can be applied for after the assessment date/deadline. Unlike self-certified applications which can only be used once per semester, you are allowed to submit multiple evidence-based EC applications. If there are multiple assessments in your application, you would need to make sure all of these assessments are within 10 working days of each other (all assessments included as part of an evidence -based application need to be within 10 working days (2 calendar weeks) of the first assessment deadline they include.
