I am a new student and will be on health sciences placements. What uniform am I entitled to?

If you are a nursing and midwifery student, you are entitled to the following uniform at the start of the course: 1 fleece, 3 tunics and 3 pairs of trousers. Please note trousers are optional. If you choose to wear your own trousers, please note they must be straight leg, full length, and plain black. Leggings / combat trousers / capri style trousers / jogging bottoms are not permitted. These are funded by the University.

If you are a paramedic student, you are entitled to the following uniform at the start of the course, 1 fleece, name badge, 4 polo tops, 1 soft shell jacket, 2 pairs of trousers and 1 belt. These are funded by the University. Depending on the Ambulance Service you are assigned to, further uniform will be required. For South East Coast ambulance service, the academics organise this with you and  the university will then place the order on your behalf. For London Ambulance Service, they will organise this with you directly.

All uniform is ordered through Work In Styles uniform portal. You will receive information regarding this once you start on the course.
