I am registered with the update service; do I need to request a new Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate?

You will not need to request a new certificate if you are registered with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Update Service but please email the Clinical Placements team with your DBS certificate number, your name, and your date of birth so that we can check your records on the DBS Update Service. 

We do need to see proof of your DBS certificate, so please email the Clinical Placements team to arrange a time to bring this in.
