I cannot attend my graduation ceremony, what should I do?
If you cannot attend your graduation ceremony but would still like to attend a graduation ceremony at another time you can defer your attendance to the following year by contacting the Ceremonies team.
If you cannot attend and do not wish to defer your attendance to another time, please contact the Exams, Graduation and Awards team to request your degree certificate. You can either arrange to collect it from Senate House reception or we can post it to you. If you want it to be posted to you, please provide details of your postal address. Sending by courier is also an option but you would need to contact us to arrange this and then pay for this via our online store.
If you have not been awarded at the time of your graduation ceremony but have booked to attend, we will automatically refund your tickets after the ceremonies have taken place. If any guests that had booked tickets to the ceremony need to cancel their tickets, a refund can be arranged by sending an email to the Ceremonies team.
