I have been offered a lower exit award, what is this?
If you have been awarded a lower exit award, this is because you have not achieved enough credits to receive your full intended award, but you have still achieved sufficient credits for a lower award, for example, a Diploma. This may be because some assessments have been failed and there are no more opportunities for reassessment, or if you have left your programme early.
The details of your lower exit award will appear on your HEAR transcript.
