I have duplicate names displaying on my student record, why has this happened and how can I change it?
If your forename or preferred name fields were left empty following completion of your online pre-registration, our system will automatically populate the other field. For example, if your name is Joe Bloggs, and you chose to write Joe in the forename field during online pre-registration, but left preferred name blank, our system will automatically put your name “Joe” in both fields. This is to ensure your name is pulled through to our various internal systems, including your timetable, MySurrey Engagement and SurreyLearn.
You can request to change the information held in the forename, preferred name or surname fields on your student record by sending a contacting the MySurrey Hive team via Surrey Support. Please clearly outline which information you would like changed, and what you would like it changed to, in your initial message.
