I have received an email asking me to pay my tuition fees via a link or unrecognised invoice?
The university sends out tuition fee invoices and tuition fee payment reminders directly to your University of Surrey email account. You will then be directed to pay using Flywire via your Surrey Self-Service account so if in doubt, you will be able to access all of your tuition fee payment amounts from your Surrey Self-Service account. All tuition fee payments are processed through your Surrey Self-Service account.
Any email requesting urgent payment, or containing a link to an unfamiliar payment page, should be treated as suspicious. Do not make any payment. Report the email immediately using the Report Phish button in Outlook or by emailing phishing@surrey.ac.uk.
If there is any uncertainty about whether a payment request is genuine, or if the invoice you have received does not match the fee amounts showing in Surrey Self-Service, please email our Student Receivables team at student-receivables@surrey.ac.uk — do not use any links provided in the suspicious email.
If you are unable to access Surrey Support, please contact us via our enquiry form.
