I have received an invoice. Is it a scam?

It is important to be wary of potential scam emails. All of the University's invoices are emailed to your University of Surrey email address, in HTML format, and have the University of Surrey logo on them plus the payment dates that you are required to pay by. We only request payment through our secure e-payment portal. We will never request a bank transfer.

You may receive scam or fake emails that demand upfront or cash payments to non-University of Surrey bank or email accounts. If you think that you may have incorrectly paid a false invoice, please get in touch with the MySurrey Hive team via Surrey Support who will be able to check the legitimacy of the request. You can select "Money and Finance" as your enquiry topic.

Please note, we will never email you asking for bank or credit/debit card details.
