I’ve lost my student card – what should I do on the day of the exam?
If you have lost your student ID card, you can create your own exam confirmation ID slip to use at your exam venue. You can do this by downloading an exam slip yourself. To do this, using a web browser such as Chrome or Edge, go to our University Letters and Exam Slips page and select 'Autogenerate an exam slip now'. You will receive your exam slip by email and you will then be able to print your exam slip. It should also be possible to generate and print exam slips from your mobile phone if you do not have your laptop with you on the day of the exam.
The exam slip must be printed - we cannot accept digital slips on phones or other devices. The exam invigilator will need to collect the exam ID slip from you during the exam.
It is recommended that you obtain the exam slip as soon as possible before the day of your exam. If you experience problems generating an exam slip, you should visit MySurrey Hive and ask a member of staff to print an exam confirmation ID slip for you.
If you are taking your exam online/at home and are experiencing problems, you can contact MySurrey Hive via Surrey Support for advice. Please select "My Course" as your enquiry topic.
If you are unable to access Surrey Support, please contact us via our enquiry form.
