I’ve lost my student card – what should I do on the day of the exam?

If you have lost your student ID card, you can create your own exam confirmation ID slip to use at your exam venue. You can do this by downloading an exam slip yourself from Surrey Support. To do this, go to Surrey Support and select 'I need a letter from the University', then select 'Autogenerate an exam slip now'. You will receive your exam slip by email. You will then be able to print your exam slip. The exam slip must be printed - we cannot accept digital slips on phones or other devices. An invigilator will collect the exam ID slip from you during the exam.

Please note that you should use a web browser such as Chrome or Edge and use a computer (not a mobile device). It is also recommended that you obtain the exam slip as soon as possible before the day of your exam. If you experience problems generating an exam slip, you would then need to visit the MySurrey Hive on the day of your exam and ask a member of staff to print an exam confirmation ID slip for you.
