Is there somewhere quiet on campus I can think/meditate?

At Surrey, we offer various locations for prayer, devotions, meditation or just to have a quiet space to think. You do not need to be religious to use these spaces:

  • The Quiet Centre for individuals and groups, primarily for prayer, worship, meditation and contemplation
  • Islamic Prayer Room for Muslim daily prayers, it has Wudu facilities and separate entrances are available
  • Manor Park Prayer Room has a shared space available for prayers, meditation and devotions
  • The Chaplaincy Centre hosts a multi-faith lounge area, a Christian oratory (prayer room) and Jewish common room for personal prayer and devotions.
  • Find out more about opening times and getting access to these places of worship.
