What support is available to me whilst I am waiting for an assessment or diagnosis of a disability or learning difference?

You do not need to wait for a formal diagnosis before contacting Disability and Neuroinclusion. We encourage you to contact us as soon as you need support.

You can get in touch with us by contacting the MySurrey Hive team via Surrey Support, selecting Disability and Neuroinclusion as your enquiry topic, or speak to us at one of our drop-in sessions. We can discuss your circumstances, explain the support available, and advise you on the next steps. ​

If you have evidence that you have been referred for an assessment, you can still register with Disability and Neuroinclusion. Please provide your referral evidence when completing your registration, where requested. A formal diagnosis may be needed for some types of support, but our team can advise you based on your individual circumstances.
