What is the Sustainable Futures Award (SFA)?
The Sustainable Futures Award (SFA) is a free extracurricular course on global sustainability and the challenges affecting our planet along with the solutions being devised to solve them. The SFA module focuses on the three aspects of sustainability – environmental, economic and social issues.
The course is provided free of charge by the University to undergraduate and postgraduate students based on campus in Guildford.
If you successfully complete the module, you will receive a CIFAL Surrey certificate of completion, accredited by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR). The achievement will also appear on your final Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR) and postgraduate research students will receive a certificate. You can find out more about this course from our Sustainable Futures Award page.
