Why is my campus card not working on a multifunctional device (printers/photocopiers/scanners)?

If there is no change on the screen when you tap your card, please try a different multifunctional device (MFD). If there is still no change, the card needs replacing. Cards can be requested by filling in the online request form.

If a message comes up when you swipe, it could be that you are using a card which is disabled as you have had a replacement. You will need to use your current card (note: you need to wait a day before a new or replacement card works on the MFDs).

 

If you’re using your current campus card and an error message appears it might be caused by a variety of issues. Please contact the IT team via Surrey Support for further support.
