Why was my request to change my optional module denied?

Your request to change an optional module may have been denied for a number of reasons:

• It may be that there is a student number cap on the module, and the limit has been reached. Room sizes are allocated based on students' original module selections – the room therefore may not be big enough for additional students

• The new module’s lectures/seminars may clash with your existing module selection

• The optional module you are trying to change to may not be on offer for your particular degree course

You can also only request to change a module within the first two weeks of the semester.
