Why wasn't I asked to provide a photo for my campus card as part of the registration process?
If you are a new student who is arriving during the main registration period (September or February), you would have been asked to upload your photo as part of the online registration process (before the campus card print run). This allows us to produce cards in advance. Your new campus card will then be available for collection once you arrive at university.
The photo upload option in Surrey Self Service is switched off once the deadline for the September or February campus card print run has passed. Therefore, if you have missed the deadline to upload your photo, were not asked to provide a photo, there was an issue uploading your photo, or you're joining mid-way through the academic year, you can request your card through the Campus Card Portal. We will send you an email confirming when your new campus card is ready for collection and you can collect it from the MySurrey Hive location that you selected when you made your request. Please be ready to show us your campus card confirmation email and a form of photo ID when you collect it.
