Will in-class tests appear on my personal timetable?

Your in-semester tests will appear on your personal timetable, along with the allocation of the main rooms if your tests are taking place in-person on campus. If your tests are taking place remotely online you will see “ONLINE” on your timetables instead.

Please note, if you have exam adjustments in place, you will only be able to see the main rooms on your timetable (unlike end of semester exams). However approximately one week before the test, the Exams team will upload the full seating lists for main and exam adjustment students to the News page for the module in SurreyLearn. At the same time, all students will be emailed to confirm that the seating lists have been uploaded and students may then check for their correct/final room allocations.

Students resitting without attendance do not have their re-sit class tests added to their timetables. Instead the Exams team will email you directly confirming your scheduled arrangements. Note that students re-sitting a face to face on campus class test are expected to come to campus to re-sit, usually at the same time as the current cohort. All class test re-sits should take place during the semester. If you need clarity on when your class test is please email the module leader in the first instance.
