Can I access free health or medical information through the Wisdom App?
The Wisdom App is a comprehensive wellbeing platform delivered through our partnership with Health Assured and provides free mental health and wellbeing resources for all University of Surrey students.
The Health Assured service, available through the Wisdom App, gives students access to free and confidential medical information from trained nurses, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The helpline can provide general health information and help you understand where to seek further support.
This service does not replace your GP or other NHS services and cannot provide a diagnosis, prescribe medication or deliver treatment.
If you need medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, we recommend that you register with a local GP. You can register with the Student Health Centre, located on the Stag Hill campus, or choose another GP practice in the area. Visit our register with a doctor page for details of local practices and how to register.
For urgent medical help, contact NHS 111 online or by telephone. In a life-threatening emergency, call Campus Safety on 01483 683333 or call 999.
If you are unable to access Surrey Support, please contact us via our enquiry form.
