Can I apply to live on campus as a returning student if I have a disability or medical needs?

If you would like to apply for on-campus accommodation beyond your first year due to disability or medical needs, you will need to complete our Register and Request Support Form, if you have not already done so, and then submit an Additional Request, selecting “Accommodation” as the adjustment type, alongside your standard accommodation application.

On this form you can advise why you require on campus accommodation and request a specific campus, type of room, and any further adjustments.

You will need to provide medical evidence to support your request (although if you have previously shared this with Disability and Neuroinclusion, you do not need to resubmit it).

If we are able to support your request, you will be guaranteed accommodation, provided you submit both your accommodation application and the relevant request through Surrey Access by the stated deadline.
