Can I switch my timetabled session if my circumstances mean it is difficult for me to attend?
Everyone is expected to attend teaching sessions but we know that some students commute quite some way to campus or are juggling work commitments with their studies. If you are not going to be able to make your timetabled teaching session, you will need to log your absence in MySurrey Attendance. You do not need a code to do this.
Some of our seminars, or other sessions, are duplicated during the week. It might be possible to move your session to another time if you are experiencing significant difficulties commuting or managing work. Any such requests should be made within the first two weeks of the semester by contacting the MySurrey Hive team via Surrey Support and selecting “My Timetable” as your enquiry topic. We can then see if this is possible.
If you are unable to access Surrey Support, please contact us via our enquiry form.
